First we met Mr. Prasad Salvekar who is electronic engineer and discussed the entire working of gas system. And then we see the actual fitting of gas system. |

-First no of flats & no of people in each flat are taken into consideration. -Then fittings of gas pipes for supply of gas into the flats is done according to design. -Each flat has only one gas supply connection & separate meter is provided to measure the consumption done by the occupant -Meter readings are taken at the end of every month & according to it charges is applied. |

Todays buzz word-Your own Site training experience Our group name is ‘SANGHAVI ROCKSTARS’ Akshay Desai-group Leader Nitish Mohite Suchita Patil Yogesh Dalvi Parag Dhapodkar Above are the group members. Before our Sem-5 of T.E. Civil was being to be conducted or sir Mr.Imran pathan sir who teaches us the subject B.P.D. arranged program of winter site training for T.E. civil student for getting actual site information & site experience .according to it sir devided us into various groups . My group was SUNCITY ,which is constructed by Sanghavi builders & developers who are famous for construction & various other fields for last 120 years . My group contains 5 members whose names are mentioned are above .Our training program was from 8Th Dec. to 21St Dec. 2010. our Pathan Sir provided us with helmets for safety purpose and warned us wear always shoes so that there will not be any injury . Before actual training we contact Mr. Lalit Sanghavi the owner of Sanghavi Builders & Developers and told him about our training program . He gave us the contact no. of site incharge and site engineer & he also told that he will give instructions to them. We visited the Sun City on 8Th Dec. at 9.00a.m.. There was a security guard at the gate to whom we showed the letter given by our Pathan Sir. He noted down our names manually in the register . at 9.15a.m. security guard told us that to do voting in the voting cabin . We met that person and told him about our program .According to it he made a folder of voting for us so that there will be a computarized voting of our incoming and outgoing of the project gate. These was our daily routine. Till 9.30 to 10.00 a.m. site incharge Mr.Pritam Patil & site engineer Mr.Milind Patil were coming to the site for work . We met them & always asked them for to allow us some work to see the construction process of the project . Then at each day we were told for rate analysis of various items like P.C.C. , R.C.C. Column , Beam , Slab , Plastering , Painting , etc. According to that we met concerned persons & workers & took details about the work . During taking these information we noticed that there was much difference in the actual & practical knowledge .We were told during the lectures that proportion is to be maintained during work . But on actual site there was no any proportion maintained at all. During these site training program we learnt various construction materials like, steel , plastic, bricks , vetrified tiles , granite , marble, P.O.P, P.O.P sheets, Ace paints , tractor imulsion paints, plywood , sunmica, R.C.C. pipes , septic tank , lambi , paving blocks, concrete , sand, aggregate, cement , superplasticisers , aluminium, glass,boding chemicals, expansion joints , thermocol, roofing tiles , fabrication materials, etc. During the it raining program we met various contractors like plumbing , electrification , tile, painting, window, door, P.O.P. , fabrication , labour etc.& discussed with them how to fill the tender for getting a contract in brief & took information about the type of material used , method of work in these project .Sometimes everyone was getting more information during that time we discussed particular point within ourselves & we would like to ask the queries to concerned person or worker. During our site training program we also took various photographs so that we can remember for ever . By taking the permission of our site incharge & site engineer ,we also visited the nearby sites and we saw the pile foundation work, pressure pile, formwork,column casting plinth beam casting,filling , slab casting, preparation & arrangment of reinforcement for column , beam,slab etc. according to R.C.C. design.& also we discussed about the present rates of this material in the market. Durin this we also asked them various questions like why they used that particular material for the construction. They also responded us good . We enjoyed this training by taking various information . the site engineer ,site incharge, supervisor gave us their personal experience work information . At 3.00p.m. or site engineer Mr. milind patil was teaching us how to calculate the rate analysis of a particular construction items.We used this information for calculation of rate analysis . after some days we learnt some what how to calculate the rate analysis . according to it we calculated the rate analysis and we doing tally it .with that of calculated by our site engineer . it was coming to be some what near by but not accurate . in short some rough idea about calculation of rate analysis . There is a camera security system through which an eye is kept nearly at each and every bunglow . coman facilities provided are good like Wi-Fi connection for internet ,club house ,gymnasium ,temple , garden etc. 24 hours water supply is available . At the last day i.e. on 21st Dec.2010 they gave us an send off after 4.00 p.m. During the send off we cutted a Black Forest Cake & ate pups & also gave it to the some other important persons which we came across during our site training program & also took the photographs with them.And also we enjoyed the send off party . At the end of each day we took sign. And remarks of site incharge and site engineer in our work allotment sheet and at last day we also took the sign. Of the project owner. In this way we completed our winter site training program from 8th DEC to 21st Dec 2010 & took various information about construction & we also got much more actual site i.e. field experience . from this training we learnt that how to become a successful builder in construction by talking pleasantly with the contractors and workers . We have also launched our own group web site which is ‘http://sanghavirockstar.webs.com’ where we have downloaded our information & photos taken on the site.We have also got two times report of the day & twice pic. of day . We are thankful to you for giving site training program & we are hoping that in future you will conduct such site training programmes for us. And we will like that you will keep this group till B.E. |
